South
African Removals is a service that was originally conceived and established
by a young man from Cape Town named Marc Theyers.
Whilst working as a shipping professional in the UK, Marc identified the need for a budget shipping service specialising in baggage and household effects from UK to South Africa only. After much hard work and dedication the idea for the service gradually developed into a fully operational reality.
Marc is still very much involved in a ‘hands on’ way. Having spent 2005 and much of 2006 ‘fine tuning’ the UK end of the operation, Marc is now back in Cape Town managing the development of our South African residential delivery service.
Based in Cape Town, South African Removals operates in association with our South African agents Advance Transport who were established way back in 1931.

Baker (Shipping) Ltd. Based in the container port of Felixstowe, George
Baker (Shipping) are currently celebrating 25 years in business having been
launched in 1981 and incorporated in Feb 1982.
